Rachel Uhrig is a pizza eating synesthete. Their first memories are as follows:
Asking their mother what 8 looked like. 8 is green.
Asking their mother what people think about. People are still confusing.
They grew up in Richmond, VA with two parents, two brothers, and too many emotions.
Rachel is a collector of stories. Their work is an illustration of family oral history and a folklore created from the echoes of trauma. They intuitively record the past to remember the present.
